Engine No. 27 cost $11,874. Engine No. 27 was built with Stephenson valve gear. Flange lubricators were installed in November of 1916. A new cab was installed in May of 1919. A Loco Light generator, Model "C" 450 watt, was installed on November 22, 1919. A new cab was installed in November of 1921. A Pyle National generator, Type E, 1500 watt, was installed on November 30, 1921. A superheater and Walschaerts valve gear was installed in April of 1922. Straight air was installed in 1936. A steel cab was installed, date unknown. * Engine weight increased to 143,000 lbs. with steel cab and Walschaerts valve gear. |
