Front Cover

Ma & Pa Alco American 4-4-0 #6 heads up a southbound passenger consist near Bryansville, Pennsylvania. The photograph, cropped on the cover but in full uncropped format on the inside rear cover, was one of many classics captured by William Moedinger, Jr.

Rear Cover

This is another William Moedinger image of a classic M&P passenger train from the c. 1940 era. Mr. Moedinger snapped the photograph of the southbound train as it approached Pylesville, Maryland. Note the similar consist of wood open platform coach trailing the signature arched roof mail/baggage car. Submitted from his collection by Theodore Gleichmann, Florham Park, New Jersey.
