Society adds content
for Internet researchers

The Maryland & Pennsylvania Railroad Historical Society is adding additional content to this web site to aid researchers looking for information about the railroad on the Internet.

The Society has received permission from Charles T. Mahan. Jr., a life-long fan, photographer and historian of the Ma & Pa Railroad, to provide information on this web site from his decades of reserach of the railroad.

This information will be found on the Historical Information page of the web site. This will be a long-term project to make the wealth of information available to persons researching the locomotives, rolling stock, structures and other details about the railroad.

Taylor's Trestle
Eagle Scout Project

Joseph Laucks, a Boy Scout from Dallastown, Pennsylvania, is working on his Eagle Scout project, which is to preserve Taylor's Trestle in Red Lion as part of the "Red Lion Mile," a rail-trail project in the Red Lion area.

Joseph is currently working on a web site about the history of Taylor's Trestle, as well as information on the project to preserve and restore Taylor's Trestle.

Joseph's web site can be found at www.taylortrestle.org
