Engines No. 41 and No. 42 were leased to the Lehigh & New England Railroad circa 1914-1916 because they were too heavy for the track and trestles on the Ma & Pa. They were returned to the Ma & Pa after the trestles were upgraded.

Various company sources sometimes give conflicting dates for installation of improvements. Best judgement has been used when conflicts exist.

Data has been gathered from various sources, including Annual Reports, AFEs, the M&PA's Shop Book and photographs.
