NOTES:

 

Engine No. 24 was built with Stephenson valve gear.

Flange lubricators were installed in November of 1914.

Southern valve gear was installed in June of 1916.

A power reverse was installed in June of 1916.

A steam heat line was installed in June of 1916.

Headlight from Engine No. 4 was transferred to Engine No. 24 in June of 1920 after a wreck at Woodbrook.

A Loco Light generator, Model "C" 450 watt, was installed in June of 1920.

A steel cab was installed prior to 1932.

Engine No. 24 was sold to the Luray Iron & Metal Company in May of 1936.

Various company sources sometimes give conflicting dates for installation of improvements. Best judgement has been used when conflicts exist.
