Engine No. 23 was built with Stephenson valve gear. Southern valve gear was installed in September of 1915. A steam heat line was installed on September 14, 1915. Flange lubricators were installed in October of 1915. A Brown power reverse was installed in February of 1917. A Loco Light generator, Model "C" 450 watt, was installed on November 30, 1921. Straight air was installed in 1936. A steel cab was installed between 1937 and 1940. |
