NOTES: |
Formerly York Southern RR No. 2 Engine No. 2 was built with Stephenson valve gear. Originally used in passenger service, used as a switcher after 1909. * Prior to June, 1918, operating pressure was reduced to 155 lbs. Electric headlight installed on March 20, 1920. The electric generator installed was probably a Loco Light Model "C" generator as installed on the other engines, but this has not been confirmed. |

Various company sources sometimes give conflicting dates for installation of improvements. Best judgement has been used when conflicts exist.
Data has been gathered from various sources, including Annual Reports, AFEs, the M&PA's Shop Book and photographs.
